History & Background
San Blas was originally an Inca residential district called "T’oqokachi". After the conquest, it became home to prominent Spanish and indigenous artists, starting a long tradition of Cusco religious painting and sculpture.
How to Arrive
Walk past the Cathedral at Plaza de Armas, continue up Calle Triunfo, then climb the steep, picturesque Calle Cuesta de San Blas.
